Quick Version: If you still have the incorrect write-off in front of you:
1. Click the ‘Write Off’ button again to open the write-off controls.
2. Then click the red ‘Remove Write Off’ button and you’re all set.

How to Undo a Write-off
1. Navigate to the Patient’s Profile
The Speedy Way
Press Cmd + K for Mac users, or Ctrl + K for PC users. This will bring up a universal search box. Simply begin typing the patient’s name and select their Patient Profile.
The Classic Way
Click on the Patient Responsibility tab and search for the patient in question from there.
2. Find the Charge with the Incorrect Write-Off
Find the line with the written-off charges you want to reverse and click View Details.
3. Undo the Write-Off
Click Write-Off.
In the popup, fill in the amount you would like to reverse and the reason for the reversal, then click Remove Write Off.
4. Write-Off Reversed!
The patient’s PR for this claim will now return to its original state, and the patient’s outstanding balance will be updated across Athelas Insights to reflect your action.
